Where Your Fees Go

Your membership fees support archery at multiple levels, ensuring the growth and sustainability of the sport locally, regionally, and nationally.

Archery GB is the national governing body for archery in the UK. Your fees contribute to:

  • Insurance: Comprehensive cover for members while shooting.
  • Competitions: Access to national-level events and championships.
  • Coaching Development: Supporting the training and certification of coaches.
  • Safeguarding: Promoting a safe and inclusive environment for all members.
  • Membership Benefits: Including the quarterly Archery UK magazine.

NCAS represents archery at the regional level, supporting clubs and archers across the North of England. Your fees help fund:

  • Regional Competitions: Organising championships and team shoots.
  • Development Grants: Funding for club growth and equipment.
  • Workshops and Seminars: Skill-building opportunities for archers and coaches.

DNAA focuses on supporting archery locally within Durham and Northumberland. Your fees support:

  • Local Competitions: County-level events for all skill levels.
  • Junior Archery Support: Initiatives for youth engagement.
  • Grassroots Coaching: Training for new and existing coaches.

Your club fees directly support the day-to-day running of North East Archers:

  • Venue Hire: Renting indoor and outdoor shooting spaces.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Repairing and replacing club equipment.
  • Events and Coaching: Organising competitions and providing structured coaching.

Senior Membership
Beginner friendly

For archers aged 21 or older on the date of purchase or renewal. Includes full access to club facilities, events, and competitions.

Total annual fee (club/region/county): £33.00

Annual: £300 (Best value)

Spread over 12 instalments: £27.50/month

Under 21 Membership
Beginner friendly

For archers under the age of 21 on the date of purchase or renewal. A great option for young archers looking to develop their skills.

  • Club fee: £25.00

Annual: £240 (Best value)

Disabled Membership
Beginner friendly

For archers of any age with a self-declared disability. Includes all the benefits of club membership with a reduced fee.

  • Club fee: £25.00

Joining Options

New to Archery?

If you’ve completed a beginners’ course with us, you’re ready to join! Complete your North East Archers membership form, register with Archery GB via Sport:80, and pay your fees.

Completed a Course Elsewhere?

We’ll arrange a quick session with one of our coaches to ensure you’re familiar with our safety rules. Then, complete your North East Archers membership and provide proof of Archery GB membership (if applicable).

Experienced Archer (No Break)?

If you’ve been actively shooting at another club, you’ll need a brief review session with one of our coaches to learn about our safety procedures and venue. Complete your North East Archers membership and provide proof of Archery GB membership.

Returning to Archery After a Break?

If you’ve had a break from archery, attend one of our Range Returners Sessions to refresh your skills and review safety procedures. Then, complete your North East Archers membership and re-register with Archery GB (if required).

If you’ve already paid Archery GB / Northern Counties Archery Society / Durham and Northumberland Archery Association fees, please provide proof to avoid being charged again.
